Thank you for visiting our website. By visiting our website and/or purchasing something from us in-person or through our website, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions and any other rules posted on our website. These Terms and Conditions contain important information regarding your legal rights, remedies, and obligations. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully.
Throughout our website, Sampat Jewellers, Inc. is referred to as “Sampat Jewellers”, “we”, “us”, and “our”.
We at Sampat Jewellers stand behind the quality of our jewelry and want you to be happy with your purchase. We hand check each piece before it is dispatched to ensure it is to the highest standard. If you are not completely satisfied, you may return your item for a full refund within 14 calendar days of receiving your order.
Our Return Policy applies to any purchase you make over the phone or through our website. The terms of our Return Policy are made a part of these Terms and Conditions by this reference. To view our full Return Policy, which contains additional conditions, please click here.
Since each piece of custom jewelry is individually handcrafted for each customer, a full payment of the purchase price is required when an order for custom jewelry is placed. Once we process your full payment, we will hand check and promptly dispatch your custom piece to you.
You may request any changes to your custom order within 3 business days from the day the deposit is paid. After 3 business days, additional change requests are not possible.
Please note that custom jewelry usually takes 4 to 6 weeks to complete, but may take longer depending on the complexity of your design. At the time of purchase, we aim to provide you with a reasonable estimate of how long your custom piece will take to create. Since each custom piece is unique, we are unable to guarantee any time estimates, but we will keep you notified about the progress of your piece.
Custom jewelry design fees are non-refundable.
Sampat Jewellers retains the full unrestricted rights to all jewelry designs, whether custom or standard and may choose to market or sell jewelry based on such designs.
Please note that special return conditions apply for custom jewelry. We do not accept returns or provide refunds for custom jewelry. All sales are final.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, check, and wire transfer payments.
Purchases paid by check will automatically receive a 1.5% discount. Returned checks will be subject to a $35 processing fee.
Sales taxes apply to purchases made by California residents.
For custom jewelry, we will begin work when we receive a full payment of the purchase price. Please see the special conditions for custom jewelry above for more information.
Standard shipping is always free in USA, Canada, UK, and India. We ship worldwide. Custom duty and taxes outside are the responsibility of the buyer.
We do not ship to P.O. boxes.
We aim to dispatch orders within 3 to 4 weeks. Our delivery time estimates are only approximations and are not guarantees.
We will notify you by email with a tracking number when your order has been dispatched.
We are committed to crafting quality pieces, and we stand behind the work of our artists. We will repair any manufacturing defect including loose gemstones, including diamonds, (weighing less than 0.3 carat) and broken gold hooks or clasps at no extra charge within one year from the date that you receive your item. Please contact us by phone or email if you think your item has a manufacturing defect, and we will provide you with a complimentary return shipping label. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for us to repair your jewelry.
Since jewelry is inherently precious and certain designs can be more delicate than others, we do not provide warranties or complimentary repairs for normal wear and tear or damage caused by accident. We strongly recommend that customers remove our products when exercising, bathing, or cooking.
For items that are damaged after one year from the purchase date, from an accident, or from normal wear and tear, we can repair your item for a fee depending on the extent of the damage to your item. To receive a cost estimate for repair, we ask that you send 6 detailed images of the item and the damaged portion for our experts to review. Please contact us for more information regarding our repair procedure.
Any size changes for items such as rings, bangles, bracelets, and necklaces that are a result of customer error will incur additional material, labor, and shipping costs.
We reserve the right to accept, refuse, or cancel, for any reason, any orders placed in-person or through our website.
We use our best efforts to provide accurate prices for our products, but pricing errors may occur. In such cases, we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to not process or to cancel any orders that are based on a pricing error. If this occurs, we will notify you by email.
We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors or omissions. Prices for our products are subject to change without notice, and we will not be liable to you or to any third-party for any price change.
Each piece created by our artists is handmade and unique. Our artists use their experience and artistic judgment in crafting each piece. As such, minor design variations of a style may occur. We believe these small variations give each piece its character. However, if you are not completely satisfied, you may return your item for a full refund.
We have made every effort to display the colors of our products as accurately as possible on our website. However, as computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color will be completely accurate.
Gold purity, pearl characteristics, and gemstone and diamond characteristics (e.g. cut, color, clarity, and carat), listed on your estimate and invoice are estimates only. Any changes to the final product will be indicated on your final invoice. The final price of any piece will not exceed the estimate agreed to at the time of your order. If any precious metal, diamond, gemstone, or pearl characteristics of the final product are of lower quality than indicated on your invoice, we will reduce the price to reflect the actual quality of the characteristics of the piece. If the price adjustment is not acceptable to you, you may cancel your order or return the piece for a full refund (except for diamonds greater than 0.5 carat and precious gemstones greater than 2 carat cannot be returned for custom jewelry).
We guarantee that all of our graded and certified diamonds are natural and of the quality stated in their grade certificate.
Diamond characteristics for ungraded and non-certified diamonds described by us on our website are based only on visual estimates, and may not be 100 percent accurate. Due to our system of visual estimation, we cannot guarantee that our ungraded and non-certified diamonds are natural. As such, all ungraded and non-certified diamonds are sold “AS IS”, and are offered as a more affordable option to our graded and certified natural diamonds.
We strive to source ethical conflict-free diamonds by researching the origins of the diamonds we use in our products. We care about our supply chains and the social impact of our products. In the interest of transparency, however, we wish to inform you that the source of polished diamonds is rarely 100 percent known. As such, we cannot warrant that any diamond, gem, or metal sold by us is conflict-free.
